✨ Fuller, more defined lips with a premium French filler designed specifically for natural movement.
✅ How it works:
- A smooth gel made from hyaluronic acid — a sugar your body already makes — is injected into the lips to add volume and shape. It contains a natural antioxidant called mannitol that helps calm swelling and may help the result last longer.
✅ Who it's for:
- You want noticeably fuller lips that still feel soft and move naturally when you talk or smile
- You're bothered by lip lines around the mouth or lips that have lost shape with age
- You want a premium product with built-in numbing for a more comfortable experience
✅ The benefits:
- Immediate fuller, more defined lips
- Natural feel that moves with your expressions
- Built-in anaesthetic for comfort during treatment
- Mannitol antioxidant may mean less puffiness afterwards
- Specifically designed for lips, not a general-purpose filler
✅ What's included:
- Full consultation to plan your shape and volume
- Numbing cream applied before treatment
- Up to 1ml of Stylage Special Lips with integrated lidocaine
- Precise injection technique for even, balanced results
- Aftercare advice and follow-up support
✅ What to expect:
- Single session for immediate result
- Peak result at 2 to 4 weeks once any swelling settles
- Lasts 9 to 12 months on average
- Top-up or maintenance typically at 6 to 12 months if wanted
💡 A premium choice if you want lip-specific technology with less post-treatment swelling.
Common questions
Is there any downtime?
You'll usually have noticeable swelling for two to three days, with any bruising fading within a week. Most people carry on as normal and just cover any marks with a mask or scarf if they want to.
Does it hurt?
It's quite manageable — we put numbing cream on first, and the filler itself contains lidocaine so it gets more comfortable as we go. Most people say it feels like pressure rather than anything sharp.
How many sessions will I need?
Most people only need one session for the result they want, with optional top-ups at six to twelve months if you'd like to maintain it. If you've got a wedding or big event coming up, book at least four weeks beforehand so everything's settled in time.
How long do the results last?
You'll see the change straight away, and it's at its best after about two to four weeks once any swelling has settled. From there it typically lasts nine to twelve months, depending on your metabolism and lifestyle.
Are there any side effects?
It's normal to have some redness, swelling and tenderness afterwards, and you might get small bruises where the needle went in. These usually settle within a few days. Less commonly there can be lumps, unevenness or altered sensation that also resolves. Serious problems like infection or blocked blood vessels are rare but possible, which is why we always have emergency protocols in place.
Before your appointment
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours — it thins the blood and increases bruising
- Stop blood thinners like aspirin or ibuprofen 3 days before if safe for you
- Skip fish oils, vitamin E and gingko 1 week before
- Do not book if you have a cold sore or any lip infection
- Come with clean lips — no makeup, balm or product on
- Eat something light beforehand to avoid feeling faint
After your treatment
- Expect swelling that peaks at 24 to 48 hours, then settles over 3 to 5 days
- Small bruises at needle points may last up to a week — arnica cream helps
- No makeup on lips for 24 hours to avoid infection
- Avoid alcohol, gym, saunas and hot showers for 48 hours
- No kissing or pressure on lips for 48 hours
- No dental work for 2 weeks before or after
- Final settled result visible at 2 to 4 weeks
Do not book if
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have an active cold sore, lip infection or inflammation
- You have had a severe allergic reaction or anaphylaxis before
- You are allergic to hyaluronic acid or lidocaine
- You have an autoimmune condition affecting connective tissue
