Is there any downtime?

You'll usually be red, slightly swollen and tender afterwards, much like mild sunburn, and some people get a little peeling. It's much improved after 48 hours, though it can take a bit longer to fully settle, and you'll need to skip exercise, heat, saunas and swimming for the first 72 hours. Minor bruising happens occasionally and can take one to two weeks to fade.

How long do the results last?

You'll likely see a glow straight away, and your skin should feel smooth and hydrated for the first one to four weeks with good home care. The deeper change builds later — results start showing at two to three weeks and peak at four to six weeks as new collagen forms.
