✨ Deep clean meets collagen boost for skin that glows today and keeps improving for weeks.
How it works:
- Deep cleansing clears out pores and removes the dead surface layer so skin is perfectly prepped, then microneedling creates thousands of tiny channels that trigger your skin's natural repair system to build fresh collagen.
Who it's for:
- Anyone with dull, congested skin wanting instant clarity plus longer-term smoothing
- People with enlarged pores or mild acne scarring who need more than surface exfoliation
- First-timers to microneedling who want a gentler entry point
The benefits:
- Immediate glow and freshness from the deep cleanse
- Smoother, firmer skin as new collagen builds over the following weeks
- Refined pores and softened early lines
- Better absorption of your skincare at home
- A clearer, more even complexion that lasts
What's included:
- Thorough deep cleanse to purify and prep the skin
- Microneedling with hydrating moisturiser as the glide serum
- Calming LED therapy to reduce redness and speed healing
- Personalised aftercare plan and product guidance
- Follow-up check-in to track your progress
What to expect:
- One session for an event-ready glow, or a course of 3 to 6 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart for real collagen change
- Glow visible immediately, with microneedling results starting around day 3 to 5
- Peak improvement at 4 to 6 weeks as remodelling completes
- Deep cleanse effects last 1 to 2 weeks; collagen results hold 3 to 6 months
💡 A brilliant first step into microneedling — effective yet gentle on sensitive skin.
Common questions
Is there any downtime?
You'll usually have noticeable redness and a tight, warm feeling for 24 to 48 hours, similar to mild sunburn, and most people feel comfortable returning to work the next day with a little coverage.
Does it hurt?
It's quite manageable — we apply numbing cream beforehand, so most people describe it as a scratchy or vibrating sensation rather than sharp pain, and the deep cleanse beforehand means skin is calm and prepped.
How many sessions will I need?
Most people book a course of 3 to 6 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart for visible collagen change. If you have a wedding or big event coming up, start at least 12 weeks beforehand so the full course completes and settles in time.
How long do the results last?
You'll see an immediate glow from the deep cleanse, with microneedling results starting around day 3 to 5 and peaking at 4 to 6 weeks. The collagen effects typically last 3 to 6 months, longer if you maintain with top-up sessions.
Are there any side effects?
It's normal to have redness, mild swelling and skin feeling hot and tight for 24 to 48 hours afterwards, and you might notice small bumps or pinpoint marks where the needles entered — these settle on their own. Rarely, dryness, flaking, bruising or temporary sensitivity can occur, and as with any treatment that breaks the skin, there is a small risk of infection or pigment changes if aftercare is not followed.
Before your treatment
- Stop retinol and acid exfoliants 5 to 7 days before — they thin the skin and increase sensitivity
- Use only a gentle, hydrating cleanser in the days leading up
- Drink plenty of water so skin is well hydrated
- Apply SPF 30 or higher daily for the week before
- Limit alcohol and caffeine 48 hours prior — both dehydrate skin and can worsen redness
- Avoid waxing, threading, sunbeds and intense sun exposure 1 week before
- Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin so we can start straight away
- Tell us about any medications, allergies or skin conditions when you book
Aftercare
- Expect redness and a tight, warm feeling for 24 to 48 hours — this is normal and settles on its own
- Do not apply makeup for 24 hours minimum — longer if the skin still feels sensitive
- Use only a gentle, non-fragranced cleanser and plain moisturiser for 3 days
- Apply SPF 30 or higher every day for 2 weeks — sun protection is essential
- Avoid exercise, saunas, swimming and excess alcohol for 72 hours — heat and sweat irritate fresh channels
- Skip active ingredients like retinol, glycolic acid and strong exfoliants for 7 days
- Do not book Botox, fillers, waxing or other facial treatments for 2 weeks
- Contact us immediately if you notice signs of infection — unusual swelling, heat, pus or fever
Who it isn’t suitable for
- Active acne breakouts, cold sores or any skin infection in the treatment area
- Open wounds, cuts or broken skin
- Eczema, psoriasis, severe rosacea or active dermatitis
- History of keloid or hypertrophic scarring
- Blood clotting disorders or use of anticoagulant medications
- Isotretinoin (Roaccutane) use within the past 6 to 12 months
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Autoimmune diseases or immunosuppression
- Diabetes with poor wound healing
- Recent radiation therapy to the face or neck
- Known allergy to cleansing ingredients like chlorhexidine, glycolic acid or salicylic acid
- Photosensitising medications that increase light sensitivity
