Common questions
Is there any downtime?
You can get straight back to normal life — there's no real downtime with this one. You may have a little swelling over the first 24 hours, and a cold compress settles it. Don't touch, pick or scratch the spot for 7 days, and keep makeup off the area for that week — gentle cleansing only, and keep it moisturised with the aftercare ointment we give you. Don't submerge it in water for 5 days, and avoid saunas, pools and heavy sweating for a week. Keep it out of the sun completely, and use SPF 50+ once it's healed.
How long do the results last?
You'll see it straight away, though it looks darker at first and softens as it settles. There's a follow-up at 6 to 8 weeks if it needs a touch-up, and from there it typically lasts 1 to 3 years.
